Membership

The International Primal Association (IPA) is a unique community of professionals and laypersons who live, practice, or support the primal healing process. Everyone is welcome.

Many of our projects and activities, such as the newsletter, internet support group, membership directory, peer group development, and certification program are focused on enriching our community life. Other initiatives such as our web site, world-wide contact list, therapist referral list, annual conventions, and regional retreats are intended to bring more primal people closer together, and make primal life more available to those in need.

Note to Professionals

Professionals who practice primal-related work often feel isolated, misunderstood, and unsupported in the present non-feeling climate of medication and talk therapies. As an IPA member, you will be part of our growing network of professionals who are developing and presenting a larger, united, world-wide voice for primal theory and practice. Membership in the IPA can also benefit your clients. Our community is a great source of support for people who are moving through a process of deep healing. A connection with primal people all over the globe conveys the message that we are not alone. This itself is an important part of healing.

IPA Membership Fees

Lifetime (payable over 5 years) $1000 $1500

* To qualify for Joint membership, both members must live at the same address and pool resources. Joint members will receive one mailing per household.

** Membership for $30 per year is available to overseas (non-North American) residents, full-time students, and individuals who support themselves exclusively with public assistance.

Checks or money orders through non-US banks are accepted with an additional $20 fee.

Dues cover the calendar year from January 1 to December 31. Please make your check payable, in U.S. funds, to the IPA. Canadian personal checks (in U.S. funds) are accepted with an additional $5.00 service fee.
